One more stat for the nerds :P June 6th 1962 might have been the hardest day for AU/NZ, we both lost a racer in Tom Phillis, and Colin Meehan, both passing competing in the Junior TT. You just know it's men like this that inspired bangers like Cake's Going The Distance!

You have to go back to 2004 to get 33 deaths counting back from 2011, 7.5 years is worse than 12, so it does sound like it's decreasing over time.
