@woudys yeah it's never nice to see them crash but as you said it's part of racing, even when racing these old things.

I have a real love/hate feeling towards the Monaco GP in particular when it comes to historic racing. It's a great event on a track with a long heritage, which I love, but I hate knowing beforehand that some really cool cars will crash in the process.

@metallica101 It gives me a good feeling now with the wise words you choose and I really do believe these cars should always be available for racing because that's what they used to mend for.

I Honestly still get a slightly broken heart seeing damage done to a historic GP car but well .. that's part of the sport of racing ain't it Smilie

@woudys these people do really care for these cars and their heritage. They race them because that is what is meant to be done with them. Yes they crash every now and then but that is part of racing. Honestly some of the drivers are really skilled as well. I've been at the Historic GP at Zandvoort for a few years now and the top drivers really do race these things properly and are perfectly capable of controlling them. Fortunately nowadays the resources are there to basically build one of these cars from the ground up if they have to, so these two cars will be just fine since the damage was pretty minimal Smilie

It's sad to see so many unknown drivers driving an old F1 car and just think they can handle all that horse power.

And it makes me really angry to see those drivers crashing those fantastic historic cars .. to be honest the cars are ment to be driven but only in the hands of drivers that can handle the cars. Smilie
