crazy! I remember when this happened...

I watched this live as well. It happened so quick. Once the dust cleared it was like a magic show with an invisible car. Camera kept looking at broken tire wall and then tracks leading to it. Wasn't until I saw the marshal on the tire wall looking down that I realized fully what happened. What the driver must have been thinking!!!!!

I think they both braked at the same position (not the same time) so either Schaldach was faster and so too late on the brakes or there was a failure.
