@Paratyfus Yeah I understand that reasoning and I agree that barriers running parallel to straights are the best solution due to the small angle of impact. However the slight kink in the pit straight allows the cars to have a much greater angle relative to the barriers.

@nexxmowarek At all of the corners there is runoff and gravel. That part is most likely considered as part of the straight, and there is almost never a big runoff on straights as accidents are unlikely there

The runoff at that part of Imola allows for absolutely no decelaration before hitting the barriers. A Grade 1 circuit shouldn't be like that.
