Jean LaFosse has a part of his suspension break loose and fly off causing him to lose control and veer into the gaurdrail at full speed. After the massive impact his foot remains caught in the wrecked car dragging his body down the track. One of the worst crashes ever.

I agree 100%, I hate to use Gordon Smiley's crash as an example but no amount of safety equipment on the car or on themselves would have mattered. RIP

That was completely unsurvivable. I'm not sure he would even have survived that with modern safety standards. The front of the car back to the seat of the car was non existent after this. RIP.
