@Sausius That was my first thought also. He was coming towards the barrier at a head on angle. Could have been very nasty.

@woudys I am pretty sure he spun that one on prupose becasue he had his hands all crossed up steering right trying to use the remaining steering force of the intact left front wheel to spin the car

I wonder if he spun on porpose to avoid the barrier in pit lane, if so than he's a smart man .. if not he's very lucky.

Just a little touch to the concrete part and the grip is gone. Surprising mistake for someone like Alonso. He was very lucky to not hit the barriers that separates the track from the pitlane.
