The spectator was Livio Fassinotti, an italian, he was hit by the truck n°508 of Aleš Loprais while taking selfies behind a dune. He tried to get up in vain. He died in Riyadh hospital of cardiac arrest during his transfer, about two hours after the accident. R.I.P mister Fassinotti

There is probably no worse spot the spectator could possibly have picked to film. Right after a crest where the drivers have zero chance of seeing them... Getting strong Darwin award vibes, although I wish they are ok and can learn from this mistake.
