Bowe had an issue with the car. I was standing just down from this one. He couldn't get the car to a safer spot. He knew he wasn't in a safe spot, hence he stayed (belted) in the car. And yes, this crash was totally avoidable, especially as it was in a yellow flag zone. I have little-to-no sympathy for drivers that don't obey waved yellows.

He had plenty of time to react and considering the driver is on the left and the camera is on the right, he should have had a perfect view of Bowe's car parked there. (Which is a problem in itself, why did Bowe park on the road...?)
