So for anyone brave enough to read: (Please read after viewing): He was starting to do well in nascar when this crash happened. His roof hit the catchfencing and He was basically sawed in half. His hand was found elsewhere and the same happened to other body parts, even his head...

All right, you want to know what happened? I assure you, it's probably the worst crash in NASCAR history and one of the worst of all time, up there with Gordon Smiley. ...Here's a link to his Wikipedia page. From doing research elsewhere, I know for certain that all details mentioned are accurate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Phillips

Oh dear God. ...This series was the NASCAR Sportsman Series, which ran from 1989 to 1996. The crash of Russell Phillips led to its cancellation at the end of 1995. NASCAR was able to keep the series on life support for 1996, but after that they dropped it. Basically, the goal of this series was to allow short trackers to run powered down former Cup cars on big tracks. Just cutting the engine power wasn't enough, as crashes were often made much worse than they should have been by driver inexperience, often leading to massive pileups and frequent injury. Russell Phillips was the last straw, and they ran short tracks only in 1996, their last season. His crash was so awful and violent that I refuse to say what happened, though I will say that it was the worst accident in NASCAR history.
