That is so terrifying! Mike Conway was so lucky to survive a massive crash like that! I could've been much worse!

apparently his injuries are worse than first thought. he not only has a broken leg, he has a compression fracture in his back, and has damage to all the ligiments in his knees and ankles. he will be out for 3 to 6 months.

@waggles, he complained of leg injuries, but was okay. He was airlifted because of the after-race traffic congestion would have taken too long to get him there by ambulance.

Jeff Kronsoff's one looked extremely similar, also Kenny Bracks one. He is so lucky to be alive. Indycars aren't unsafe any more!

It looks very similar to the crash that killed Jeff Krosnoff in 1996 and Hunter-Reay's head was also was really close to getting hit by bits of Conway's car
