It’s hard to say without specific examples but make sure it’s not a legacy card you’re trying to trade for. For example, all the F1 and Supercars sets from 2014 to 2023 are no longer “live” for collecting so coupons won’t work with them. You can only get these cards in legacy packs and on throwback Thursdays but even then not with a coupon. You can see whether a card is still collectible on the same page where you can exchange your coupon.
