Dailly Quests
rferrerF1 1 yearHello all
I think we all can agree that quests need to change a little bit. I think 112 quests per week it's too much. The difference between the top and the bottom is allways too high, so here I have some suggestions:
- Find a DarcyF1 Collector Card from X card set.
- Exchange a Card.
- Give a Card.
- Open a Booster Pack.
- Like a video.
- Complete all quests.
Additionally Top5 finishers would get rewards instead of Top3 and the number of ThumbHunts you get doesn't add to your Weekly Tally, just the first one.
So you're Active Quests could look like like this:
- Play a card onto Bingo board space #X (+1)
- Find a DarcyF1 Collector Card (+1)
- Find a DarcyF1 Collector Card from X card set (+1)
- Complete a Thumb Hunt quest (+1)
- Complete a Collector Card trade (+1)
- Give a Card (+1)
- Open a Booster Pack (+1)
- Watch a video (+1)
- Visit DarcyF1 (+1)
- Complete all quests (+1)
This way, it would be difficult to us to get up 70 quests per week, so this could help competitiveness and I'm sure we will get even more fun around here.
Hope you like the suggestions and I you have more, share it! Let's see if admin likes the idea and implement it in the following weeks.
See you and hope you have Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas to all of you!!

I know my opinion won't mean much because of how the results have been going, but the only thing I'd be hoping for is another 1 star mission per day so we could get two of each :)
I think you'd want the missions to be theoretically equally completable by everyone and be constructive, and I think the current ones do well at that. I think other ones like gift a card to a newer player or view a video to answer an easy question might be fun, though~

I think it's horses for courses and can't take away from the effort the ones at the top put in.
Maybe a handicap system, for the amount of time spent on the website?

I'm more and more in favor of this sort of change* now that it's clear it's basically a thumb hunt competition, which wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact you can't participate in them at will, and there's no evidence of a contingency system being in place to make up for extended droughts. Multiple hours worth of eligible clips in a row not triggering any clue is simply not right. Plus, while I'm not one myself, people with busy schedules likely wouldn't have the time to get more than 1 or 2 attempts per day in the first place, so only assigning credit for 1 TH each day would balance things out and hopefully add more life to the competition.
*except the booster pack objective, as they're rare-ish to come by and some people would have a massive head start if they've gathered a lot in advance.

That's why I'm less interested in thumb hunt right now.
What I am thinking now is to have just a thumb hunt classification and the amount of daily quests would break the ties. It would be nice, btw, to have an all time classification of thumb hunts completed. In fact, if any is interested, I have an all time weekly tally classification (from the last 18 weeks).

Does anyone knows what's the maximum points allocation per day?
If I understood correctly the maximum points are 15 (6 for all the 6 quests + 9 for each additional Thumb Hunt)
However, I see people accuying +20 points already on Monday... What am I missing?

it is 16, but if you don't use them any or all on sunday you can boost that to 22 i think.
