Marshal at Zandvoort
vettelisthebest 11 years 11 yearsMy high school final exams are over, so I can finally focus on being a marshal at Zandvoort for the first time this year and it's going to be a great season with among others DTM, FIA Historic GP, ADAC GT Masters, Masters of F3 and Blancpain Sprint Series. This weekend I'll be at the "Italia a Zandvoort" event with Max and Jos Verstappen giving demos and there are races with Italian brands only. I think I'll be able to upload footage on Saturday evening, but from then on I won't be uploading footage until Monday afternoon (maybe just 3 or 4 clips of one race if I'm home earlier than expected), so just a heads up :)

I'll be at Zandvoort from coming Thursday afternoon till Monday afternoon, because the DTM event has arrived :) So, I'll be uploading WRX, GRC, GP3, ADAC F4 and PWC (GT/GTA/GT Cup) footage the coming hours till tomorrow afternoon. Then I won't be uploading anything till probably Tuesday morning.

After a lot of Fridays only, I'll be on marshalduty this entire coming weekend, because the Masters event is at Zandvoort with among others the ADAC GT Masters, the 25th Masters of Formula 3 and the ADAC Procar Series ;D So of course I'm really looking forward to it, but it means I could be a little bit late with uploads. If I'm going to upload footage it won't be a lot on Saturday and Sunday evening, most of the footage will probably have to wait till Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to it, because the Blancpain Sprint Series championship will be decided in the last race of the season and Dutchman Robin Frijns is one of the championship contenders, so I'd be awesome if he could win it during his homerace :D Also Jeroen Bleekemolen is driving the No. 333 Rinaldi Ferrari together with Norbert Siedler and maybe he could help Siedler win the championship. Who knows? It's going to be an exciting weekend, that's for sure :) Besides the Blancpain Series, there are only two other championships. I don't think I'll be late with uploads as the days are pretty short (the last races on Saturday and Sunday are finished before 4PM) and there isn't a lot of motorsport this weekend. F1, MotoGP and V8s will be of course uploaded by the admin :)

While being on marshalduty in January, February, March and April I didn't really have to miss a lot of motorsport on TV and I managed to upload most footage asap. Though tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday I'll be in Zandvoort during the Racedagen Driven by Max Verstappen with among others races of the SMP F4 Championship and demos by Max Verstappen. Since I'll be gone the entire weekend and in the evening spending my time watching IndyCar, NASCAR and IMSA, most footage will be uploaded on Monday and Tuesday after the weekend. Sorry for the delay, but enjoy your weekend :)

@J1MZ - We hebben al meer Belgen standaard bij de OCA, zelfs iemand die haast buren is met Circuit Zolder. Ik weet niet precies waarom ze liever naar Zandvoort komen, maar de Belgen zijn in ieder geval wel gezellig. Als je twijfelt of je het wil, kan je je altijd aanmelden voor een introductieweekend.

Komt helemaal goed haha als marshal zijnde moet je wel bij de les blijven hè en dan tja mis ik t volgen van de wedstrijd en das een groot minpunt.. logisch natuurlijk haha maar aangezien auto/motorsport nu al 29 van de 32 jaren dat ik leef m'n passie, hobby, manier van leven en verslaving is nahhhhh toch lastig haha snap je um?! ;D

@J1MZ - Je mist wel wedstrijden tijdens het marshallen die niet in Zandvoort worden verreden, maar de wedstrijden op Zandvoort terwijl je er als marshal staat, zijn goed te volgen! Als je de blauwe vlag doet tijdens een race, is het juist belangrijk dat je de race volgt. :)
