I have had a few interesting questions via email in the past, so figured something might pop up.
This is not a thread to ask about the website, that thread exists here.
I may not be able to answer personally identifying questions, but anything else, go nuts!

Clearly you have a passion for motorsport, or you wouldn't be doing the great service that you do - may I ask have you ever actually been involved with motorsport? Had any professional racing experiences?
I haven't, although I personally would love nothing more than to get out on any track and just have fun.

Karting is a blast! Especially when you get a fresh kart, cold tyres in the rain very wet surface. Hah, spent more time with opposite lock than holding the wheel straight.
As much as I absolutely love watching the V8 Supercars series, my biggest passion lies with drifting.
In my pic, that's me in our BMW E36 in an empty but snow filled car park earlier this year. Time of my life haha.

I'm not too aligned to any particular driver in the v8s. I'd rather see good racing than a particular driver winning. Having said that, I like seeing Lowndes race and am happy when he does well. Otherwise, love seeing new guys and smaller teams doing well. As long as Whincup and Winterbottom aren't winning!
Also wouldn't mind seeing the hangers on depart the series to give some younger guys a go. Looking at you Fiore, D'Alberto. They've had their chances.

I am pretty much the same if it is a good race I am happy. Though I like it a bit better when Courtney wins, too bad he fell back into the subtop to midfield after winning his championship in 2010. Also a good race is always slightly better when Whincup doesn't win :w

I'd love to see him get back, but obviously am not in the position to make a guess as to whether it would happen.
And, any racing series! No chance I'll get to, but I'd be happy racing anything against anyone, haha. I think my racing future rests with rfactor and similar.

I'm a major IndyCar fan and have been following Tony Kanaan since 1996 or so... It was great to see him finally win the 500, though it means he may be retiring. :/
I also follow Formula 1, V8 Supercars, various sports car series, and NASCAR.

Every donation is extremely welcome, no matter the amount :)
In terms of the 2013 DTM. We already seem to have a strong group uploading the qualifying and races already, and due to limited disk space, we can't afford to have multiple copies of the same race online unless there is sufficient requesting of them.

I uploaded a WEC video (Fire on garage) last weekend but a message "Advice: You have uploaded 1 videos but have not yet added them to the website. Check them out." is there. What do I have to do?
As I couldnt see my video on website, i didnt try to upload some videos of WTCC Macau GP... Anyway, vettelisthebest have found them on my youtube channel and added to the website.

I uploading all races V8 Supercars for this season on youtube. I have not enough ranking for add it on darcy f1. Is it interesting for you? Or someone else do the same thing here and it is in vain?

Hey can someone please explain to me why when not logged in V8 supercars is a series available to watch yet the second I log in its not even in the all categories area for full races? Also, are certain full races not available until a certain rank or are they just there because the schedule was known but no race got uploaded.

@KK5C - If I remember correctly from the time I started here (December 2012) you have to reached a certain rank/amount of XP before you can watch F1 and V8 Supercars clips and I think when you're logged out you can only watch YouTube linked videos. But don't worry, the rank/amount of XP you have to achieve is (if the system is still the same as three years ago) is pretty low, it's not like you need to upload hundreds of videos or something like that to unlock these categories :)

Hello, unfortunately my account lapsed through inactivity, sorry, rejoined same name etc any way of getting my old xp points and rating back. All my old posts/video are still there and relate to my account.

@jamiebond - Yes, you need a certain amount of XP to see the F1 and Supercars videos. I joined the website about four years ago, so I can't remember exactly how much XP you need to see the videos, but I do remember it took me a very short time to access them; I only uploaded like ten or twenty videos, I think.
I believe you can also get XP by donating, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

@Freeman665 Going to need something a little more specific that 'not working', because it 'is working' for me.
Additionally, there is a Report Problem link at the bottom of every page - that would get you a faster result that hijacking a Q&A thread.

Hi there, Thru' being hospitalised I let my a/c expire, even though I had donated, I have now lost xp and can no longer view all forums, I have just donated again but cannot see any evidence...or maybe i'm going blind in me old age ;D ;D...A clarification would be much appreciated !.....Cheers
